Sales Development Representative

New York, NY

The Role:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will have the opportunity to impact the bottom line and drive revenue through generating sales opportunities in a team-focused environment. Success in this role means hitting and exceeding monthly sales goals, staying ahead of daily metrics, and handling rejection in stride, all with the support of experienced managers. We have a strong focus on optimization and welcome new ideas on how to improve our lead generation process.  You will work closely with the Sales & Marketing Teams to identify target prospects and customers through a variety of online research methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain and exceed pipeline of qualified sales leads around forecast goals and defined objectives
  • Perform analysis of inbound and outbound prospects’ business and engage with these prospects by phone and/or email
  • Initiate conversations with potential clients by phone and email outreach
  • Conduct market research to identify new potential customers and leads
  • Collaborate with the greater Sales organization to generate new business for the company strategically
  • Work with marketing to ideate, manage and execute campaigns

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of previous experience in outbound marketing, cold calling, sales pitches, prospect research, and/or general business development
  • Experience cold-calling and cold-emailing/li>
  • Strong experience working with a CRM to leverage prospecting/li>
  • Well written and strong communication skills/li>
  • Strong interpersonal skills and creative problem-solving approach/li>

Senior Product Manager

New York, NY

The Role:

As a Senior Product Manager at Thasos, you will design, develop, validate, and prioritize alpha signals, new features, and high-value bespoke projects. You will be responsible for data-driven idea generation, rapid prototyping, and managing a short- and long-term product roadmap for multiple industry verticals. To operate efficiently, you will work closely with cross functional teams of engineers and PhD data scientists in addition to leveraging our existing data analytics platform and code base and writing your own code where necessary or efficient.

The product team at Thasos interfaces directly with portfolio managers and data scientists at large hedge funds to enhance our understanding of existing and intended data usage, trading strategies, and what existing or new products are most appropriate for specific clients. You will identify additional use cases for Thasos data, and create case studies demonstrating Thasos’ product value in the context of current events and market trends.

You will also work with high-level industry professionals in commercial real estate and retail. Information gathered through this function feeds back into the product development cycle described above and enhances client satisfaction.

Finally, you will define, measure, and track performance metrics for new and existing products and research & development initiatives. You will use information gathered from this function to create documentation and materials that make understanding and using our products and signals easy and efficient for a broad range of clients across multiple industries.

Requirements:

    • Strong analytical background. We’ll be relying on you to ensure new versions of our products are correct, and expect you to be able to evaluate our data to find new ways to use it
    • Demonstrated experience designing, building, and deploying software, data, or other scalable products or services
    • Scripting experience; Python is preferred
    • Knowledge of financial markets or commercial real estate is highly preferred
    • You appreciate the difference between data and information
    • You know why no one ever shows a bad backtest

Technical Product Manager

The Role:

As a Technical Product Manager for Thasos you will be primarily responsible for deriving actionable insights from mobile phone location data. You will help devise and launch new data products and assist our clients, many of whom are hedge funds and other institutional investors, with augmenting their workflows and maximizing the value of their subscriptions. You’ll interface directly with portfolio managers, data scientists, and key executives across industries, including financial services, commercial real estate, insurance, and retail.

We expect you to conduct domain-specific research, introduce best practices, design processes that keep clients happy, and provide rapid feedback to improve our products. To operate efficiently, you will work closely with cross functional teams, including product, sales, engineering, and data science. You will also leverage our existing data analytics platform and code base and write your own code where necessary or efficient.

Requirements:

    •  Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in analytical field
    •  2+ years of programming experience; Python is highly preferred
    • Strong quantitative skills with advanced training in statistics, numerical analysis, machine learning, or related fields
    • Knowledge of financial markets or real estate is highly preferred, but not required
    • You understand the difference between data and information

Thasos is seeking a proven Product Marketing Director to contribute to the Thasos growth strategy with a focus on prospect and client activation across the product set.

The successful candidate will quickly attain expert-level knowledge of mobile phone location data, our platform/technology, products, clients, and other sources of “alternative” data, in order to build and execute brand email campaigns, partnership marketing, event marketing, and prospect and client activation.

    • Track

    The successful candidate will have:

    • 10+ years of experience in omni-channel marketing and elevating client experience with data products or services
    • Minimum 2 years of Director level experience

    • SEO experience

The Data Technician role is an entry-level position suitable for someone looking to break into the startup/big data world and gain experience working with top tier data scientists and software engineers, helping clean and manage the data used in our models.

Data Technicians are responsible for building and maintaining our database of over 1 million points of interest where we track foot traffic trends for our clients.
